Despite its young age, the MoonGoose brand has a long history. It was founded in 2017 at the production site of the First Kiev Down Products Factory, which started operating in 1946. Since 1995, production has moved into the format of a family business.
In 1999, Martin Margiela showed a snow-white duvet coat, which was repeated in the Maison Martin Margiela x H&M collection in 2012. In the fall-winter 2016/17 collection for Balenciaga, Demna Gvasalia made the down jacket the main trend in the world.

Since 2007, the factory has launched production of down jackets under the brand name Montie luxury outerwear. In addition of production of its own brand of down jackets, it worked with other Ukrainian brands on outsourcing.
In 2016 a young team came to the factory, it was rebranded and founded a new brand – MoonGoose outerwear. Design Bureau of MoonGoose has developed a collection of down jackets FW 17/18, which consists of six models, made in three colours.
MoonGoose presents collection at Fashion exhibitions in Paris, where finds it’s first foreign buyers and signs contracts for cooperation with representatives of stores from Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Europe.
MoonGoose puffers are filled with high quality white goose down with a Fill Power 700, which makes them extremely light and frost-resistant, and also have an amazing ability to keep the volume even after cleaning and pressing. Products are made of downproof fabric, use Italian furniture.
Today MoonGoose is the only one brand of down jackets in Ukraine, which has a closed production cycle. The factory produces down on it’s facilities, developing a models and there is a sewing workshop operating.
